September is already here and October will be here before we know it! I definitely can't wait to start doing all of my fall and Halloween posts, but in the mean time, I wanted to do a quick back to school fashion post with the items I recently received from OASAP.
OASAP is a fashion site based in both Asia and the US. Their clothing ranges from standard prices but has items both higher and lower than what you might find in stores. The two items I'm focusing my back to school looks on are these items: Suspender skirt and Lace Cropped Top.
I thought these would both be a good fit for back to school since the burgundy color of the crop top always reminds me of fall, and the black skirt can be used in a million different ways! I'm just going to show you a few of the ways I wore both of these items with other pieces in my closet, and if you'd like to see a full review of the products, please check out my OASAP product review on my YouTube.
Hello again Killjoys!
Today's product review comes to you from Gesshoku Designs, a US based Japanese and Otaku inspired fashion company. Their site has hundreds of shirts, bags, hoodies, pants, accessories, and a ton of other items in a variety of prints, colors, and styles.
I placed my order early last week and was quickly told that Thursday that my item would be printed and shipped within the next day. By that Friday my item shipped and arrived on Monday. I was extremely happy with how quickly the items shipped and arrived.
The items came in a standard parcel package. They were wrapped in a purple tissue paper along with my order form and a coupon. I thought the stamp on my order form was adorable!
The first item is their Pixel Drop Heart shirt in hot pink. This shirt was available in various colors, cuts, as well as this print on various items of theirs. I am extremely pleased with the color and fit of the shirt. It matches the color on the site perfectly (my camera had a hard time picking up the vibrant pink) and fits well, but not too snug. They have pretty standard prices as this shirt was $17.99
The second item is their 3-Tailed Baby Kitsune Zip Tote Bag. This bag was a bit bigger than I expected, however it was my own fault since the site does list the size of the bag on the page.
In hindsight I probably would have picked out the smaller tote bag for daily use, however this bag will still get a ton of use whether it becomes a beach bag, travel bag, gym bag, or something else entirely. It's super spacious and is made with recyclable materials. The bag is pretty thick and the zipper seems pretty sturdy as well. The bag is also water resistant and was available in several colors.
And as an added bonus, Gesshoku Designs threw in these super cute pins! Maybe I'll decorate my new tote bag with them ;D
All in all, I was very pleased with Gesshoku Designs from start to finish. They had a great turnaround time, were very pleasant to speak with, and have some pretty high quality kawaii products. I would not only order from them again, but recommend them to my readers as well.
As I mentioned earlier, there is a huge variety on the site and includes everything from visual kei, lolita, yaoi/yuri, anime, gamer, gothic, and a ton of other genres of items. The also offer gift pack/bundles.
My last post mentioned how I like to shop on a budget, so I
wanted to incorporate that into today’s coord.
Nothing here cost more than $30. I’m actually pretty sure
this whole outfit was under $100 from head to toe.
I don’t really have a set “style”. I’ve always mixed genres
of clothing, and today’s coord is a punk/pastel goth/visual kei mix of chaos.
The dress, believe it or not was a steal that I found at
Boscov’s for only $20.
The hat was about $3 on eBay and the wig was also from eBay
for only $18.
It’s getting closer to Halloween, which means the amount of
spooky clothing is only going to grow from here. I love these bat tights. They
were another eBay purchase for about $5. I’m not going to lie, they’re pretty
tight. They were also short for tights. I’m only 5’1 and had a hard time
pulling them up all the way, but once they were on, I was good.
The shoes were also from eBay (see a trend here? I like eBay
hauls lol). They were about $29 after shipping.
Finally, all of the accessories from the communicator watch,
to the bracelets, necklaces, and brooch were all about $5-25 from various
sellers and stores. Most of which I’ve had for years and forget where I’ve
bought them.
So there you have it! A little Japanese inspired coord for
under $100.
For anyone wondering about my make-up and contacts, I’ll be
putting a video up on my YouTube later this week so you can see how I did it.
If you have any other comments and/or questions, feel free to leave them below!
It’s time for a new product review! This one is for the
US-based kawaii boutique called Tasty Peach Studios! There's even a limited-time coupon code at the end of this review!
Tasty Peach Studios has some of the cutest and most affordable
Japanese-inspired accessories and products that I’ve seen in awhile. They have
an online store as well as a booth at various conventions. I was super
impressed to find out that only 2 people run the shop.
Let’s get right to the review, shall we?
My order was shipped and arrived in just a few days, and showed up exactly when they said it would!
The first product I received from Tasty Peach Studios was
the Bento Octopus charm. This is such an adorable charm. Look at the little
tentacles! It’s even blushing! It’s only $5 plus shipping, and there are dozens
of equally adorable characters to choose from.
If your phone doesn’t have a piece to put the charm, Tasty
Peach Studios also sells a charm plug in various colors that plugs right into
an auxiliary outlet, which means you can attach the charm to phones, handheld
game systems, or anything else with that outlet.
The second item I will be reviewing is the Inukii Lanyard.
Inukii is their super cute fox character, who is on many of their products. The
lanyard is perfect for attaching to my keys. The lanyard isn’t thick and bulky,
but the images still look perfect. The lanyard features Inukii in several
poses. The colors also reminded me of autumn (which is my favorite season),
which is probably why I chose this one. This item was also $5
The final item from Tasty Peach Studios is this 6-pieceZombie Alpaca Button Set. I am an absolute sucker for buttons (especially when
you can get all 6 of these for $5!). Each button has the zombie alpaca in a
different pose and is the perfect combination of creepy and cute! The buttons
are 40mm which is about a little more than an inch big. I have so many things
that I put buttons on including my vest, bag, and now my new lanyard. I can’t
wait to start accessorizing everything!
Tasty Peach Studios also offers t-shirts, plushies,
notebooks, and a ton of other Japanese-inspired accessories on their site. The
range of characters they offer is insane! There were so many different
characters to choose from. It was so hard to pick which ones I wanted. I
definitely plan on getting more soon because I NEED THEM ALL!
What did you guys think of the items I received from TastyPeach Studios? Aren’t they the cutest!?
Everything listed here (with the exception of the cell phone
plug) is only $5. Cheap, right!? Well, for one week only, my followers will
get a 15% off discount by using the code Killjoy01
Use it while you can! That coupon is only good from (today) July 24th-July 31st!
